An Imam From Tanzania has A Heartfelt Ramadaan Wish For A Clean and Welcoming Masjid and Wishes
to provide a new mosque carpet and a professional cleaning machine for the prayer area.
The carpet will cover the musallā, creating a clean, comfortable, and dignified space for ṣalāh. The cleaning machine will allow the masjid to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring that the carpet and floors are cared for regularly and properly.
Cleanliness is a core part of Islam, and a clean masjid allows worshippers to pray with peace of mind, khushū‘ (humility), and comfort. At present, limited resources make it challenging to maintain the prayer space to the standard it deserves. This wish aims to change that.
