A Wish for Solar Power + PA System for Masjid
This Humble Imam from Zimbabwe struggles each Jumu’ah and Eid to deliver khutbahs and lectures without a proper PA sound system. As the congregation grows, many worshippers — especially the sisters in the ladies’ section — are unable to hear the message meant to guide and uplift them. What should be moments of unity and reflection become moments of difficulty and strain.
The masjid is also surrounded by busy shops. When the Adhaan is called, many community members working nearby do not hear the call to prayer. Yet the Adhaan is an invitation to success — and when it is heard clearly through a PA system, hearts respond, feet move, and the community gathers.
