A WIsh For A Safe Space for a Growing Daughter
This imam’s Ramadaan wish is to build one additional room in his home so his daughter can have her own private space as she grows, instead of sharing a room with her older brother due to limited space.
As a father and a servant of the Deen, he is mindful that Islam emphasizes the dignity, privacy, and wellbeing of children, including separating sleeping spaces as they grow older, following the Sunnah of Rasulullah ﷺ.
Fulfilling this wish would bring great relief to his family and peace to his heart, knowing he has fulfilled his responsibility and provided his daughter with a safe and dignified space, In shaa Allah.
