As an Imam of Jokala Masjid, he witnesses daily the quiet struggles of community members who dream of starting or growing small businesses but lack access to financial support. This Ramadaan, his wish is not for himself—but for them.
He hopes to establish a Community Business Funding Initiative that will provide grants, low-interest loans, and essential business training to aspiring entrepreneurs. The goal is to restore dignity through halal livelihoods, strengthen local businesses, and encourage the community to support one another by buying locally.
More than financial assistance, this initiative nurtures unity, self-reliance, and long-term economic stability. For the Imam, it is an act of service—deepening bonds within the community and creating lasting impact.
