A Wish For Ramadan Iftaar Program at Masjid

Many members of his jamaat are extremely poor. This past year has been especially difficult. Due to poor rainfall and an unsuccessful harvest season, families who once managed with very little are now struggling even more. Hunger has become a daily reality, and by the time Ramadan arrives, many households have little or nothing to place on their iftaar tables.
The imam hopes to host simple Ramadan iftaar programmes at the masjid—a place where the community already gathers for solace, worship, and unity. A warm meal at sunset would mean more than just food; it would restore dignity, strengthen bonds, and allow families to break their fast together with peace in their hearts.
